Who we are

CarVett is a service of Deal N Drive Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. Contact us at dealndrive01@gmail.com.

What you're buying

A full CarVett report is a one-off digital report about one UK vehicle, priced at £9.99 including VAT where applicable. It is built from DVLA, DVSA, police, insurance and finance industry records supplied by our data partner, plus our written guidance on what those records mean.

Paying for a report doesn't sign you up to anything. There is no trial, membership or subscription, and we won't charge you again.

Your right to cancel

Because the report is digital content supplied straight away, you're asked to agree to immediate supply and to confirm you understand that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the report has been shown to you (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your other legal rights are not affected.

Refunds

• If we can't get the history records for the vehicle after you've paid, we refund you in full automatically.
• If the report is faulty, for example it's for the wrong vehicle or won't load, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually arrive in 5 to 10 working days.

What the report can and can't do

The report is only as complete and up to date as the records behind it. Records can be missing, late or wrong, and some events (for example damage that was never claimed on insurance) are never recorded at all. We don't guarantee the records and we don't offer a data guarantee or compensation scheme.

Our guidance is general advice, not a mechanical inspection or a recommendation to buy or not buy a particular vehicle. Always see the vehicle, check its V5C logbook and paperwork, and test drive it before you buy. Repair costs shown are rough guides only.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your report link

Your report is available at a private link. Anyone with the link can view it, so only share it with people you trust. We keep reports for at least 12 months.

Fair use

Free checks are limited per person to keep the service running. You may not use CarVett to collect vehicle data in bulk or by automated means.

Complaints and law

If something's gone wrong, email us and we'll reply within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
